Water damage in your home can be an emergency that will escalate quickly, especially if you don’t take action right away. Different situations from everyday appliances can cause water damage to occur. Here are some examples of common water damages that we see take place in Avondale and Goodyear homes.
Washing Machine
The hoses located in the back of a washing machine can become damaged or worn down over time. It’s important to make sure the hoses are connected properly and to routinely inspect them for wear and tear so that you can make the necessary repairs.
Dishwasher
Make sure to routinely inspect the seal which is located around the door and prevents water from leaking out. You also need to access the hoses which are found by removing the front access panel. These hoses are what allow for the dishwasher to fill and drain.
Refrigerator
Your refrigerator can leak from a blocked or clogged drain or from the water line located behind the fridge. The water line can cause water to pool and collect under your fridge.
Routine inspections can help you identify wear and tear occurring on your appliances so that you can prevent a water leak from occurring in your home.
