Roof Leak Caused By Rain Storm

This homeowner was dealing with a roof leak in their Avondale home. They had noticed that there was water leaking from their ceiling into the dining room. Upon closer inspection, there was damage to their roof due to the unusually persistent rainfall which lasted much longer then expected. High tech moisture mapping tools were used to determine where the moisture was located. In the Before photo, the blue tape that’s seen on the walls indicates that the whole wall was wet. Mold was also discovered since the moisture had been present for some time. This is why it’s important to tend to areas with moisture to prevent the growth of mold.
